Mexico City, August 4, 2025 — CAT® Footwear, the officially licensed footwear brand by Caterpillar and part of the Wolverine World Wide, Inc. portfolio, celebrates the centennial of Caterpillar Inc. with the launch of an exclusive commemorative boot collection.
This limited-edition collection draws inspiration from three of the most monumental feats of global engineering where Caterpillar played a key role: the Golden Gate Bridge, the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, and the construction of the Channel Tunnel, which connects Great Britain with continental Europe.
“For a century, Caterpillar has been instrumental in building the landmarks that connect the world: bridges that become city icons, tunnels that bring nations closer, and technological advances that took us to space,” said Thomas Kennedy, Group President at Wolverine Work. “Each boot in this collection is a tangible tribute to these great achievements and represents the brand's ongoing commitment to paving new paths and bridging boundaries.”
Collection Highlights:
Inspired by San Francisco's iconic bridge, this boot features a structural design with a "cable system" reminiscent of the bridge's engineering, along with gold-toned hardware referencing the Golden Gate name.
Paying tribute to the historic Moon landing, this boot includes a stacked, ultra-lightweight sole inspired by space gear, with powdery, brushed tones that evoke the lunar surface.
Designed in honor of the underwater tunnel connecting the UK with Europe, this boot features a functional light at the toe and illuminated outsoles symbolizing the speed of trains traveling through the tunnel.
The commemorative collection will be available starting in August at catfootwear.com.mx and select Palacio de Hierro stores, for a limited time or while supplies last.
